The desks on the media grandstand are fitted with electrical plugs. Please remember your adapter. Emergency adapters are on sale in the media office.
A limited number of desks are available with analogue and ISDN connections. These are billable, and must be ordered with your accreditation. The charge of CHF 70/€ 50 covers unlimited use of the telephone socket during the regatta, and if required the loan of a landline phone. Please pay the charge in cash at the Media Office on arrival. Staff will give you a receipt. For short calls and brief data transmission, free analogue and ISDN lines are available in the Media Office. You also have access there to a fax and photocopying service.
Our sponsoring partner SWISSCOM is again providing a WLAN hotspot. There is a fee for use. Please find further technical and charge details, etc. on the SWISSCOM site www.swisscom.ch or www.pwlan.ch.
The media area offers viewing on two screens with TV pictures and our course commentary. These are complemented by the giant screen on the Sedel shore. No monitors will be provided at individual desks.
Radio and TV stations must be sure to contact the Head Broadcaster, Schweizer Radio & Fernsehen DRS.
